your heart is your digivice I WANT THAT AD!!!

Guilmon: Uhoh.
Siiiiiiiiiighhhh. Naked Henry. That is such a good episode too. I'm glad I could watch it again without taking notes. The changes of expression, the voice acting, the effects, the suspense. And naked Henry. And DAMN, but the VIOLINS. Nnngh.
"The Devas will seem like cuddly little kitty cats!!!"
"You have better eyes than me, I can't see forever."
"It's like a terrible overcoming anger that will crush us if we let our guard down."
"There I go shooting my mouth off again."
"Man, two sad girls. I'm not even dating and I've got to deal with two sad girls."
"I can no longer serve someone who believes in violence."
"You still mean to oppose me?" "Or die trying!!"
"You think the sun won't rise if you're not there to greet it?"
"A bathtub full of hope!"

Azulongmon Explains It All

programmers' pow-wow.
Yamaki: We need more juice.
cute lil beetle thinger they're building
"You fossil." Babel? Is that his name?

Sonic Zephyr! Rika matrix digivolves, they go shield bubble
*great* POV of Takato thinking he's about to be smooshed
"What are you doing?!!" "No, come back!!!" The emotion. Le sigh.
Guilmon and Terriermon eeeep... splash... Blazing Helix! The light of destruction on them...
reminds me of when Kari screamed before Black Wargreymon's attack
Lightning Whip? Azulongmon!
the big bad cloud, Jeri still looks blitzed
The True Enemy!
Azulongmon didn't change the catalyst i.e. Calumon
The Sovereign argue... Az says digivolution might weaken them, Ch wants to be free of humans
poor tired Guilmon
red outline // Jeri I want that screen cap!! "Fighting's not the answer!!"
Takato freefall, eep! he's this tiny light, just ahead of the attack!
Dukemon! Man, I love the Biomerge music.
fight... more naked Takato
beatiful screenshot of Az separating them
They really do wish to help ... That's what we've been trying to say!

white castle? Byamon, the Byakko Sovereign.
RYO! Ebonwumon, the turtle sovereign! Ohhh, I'm flashing back to Yolei and Mr. Takeouchi talking about the powers centered around Kyoto
Jeri: Maybe we shouldn't have come here, all we've seen is pain.
Explanation.... concentric circles... like the layering explanation of the worlds in 02
Been here since the beginning of the Digital World
Kenta interrupts. Kazu: "Nerdy is as nerdy does!"
T.E. destroyed many digignomes and digimon... T.E. disappeared and new worlds evolved
the power we achieved woke the T.E.
catalyst allows us to digivolve beyond... it was hidden so we wouldn't seem like we were too powerful and get deleted
gnomes grant wishes! Gosh, I wish I knew what the Japanese name for them was...
There's Shibumi! A friend of Henry's dad...
D-Reaper
Shibumi's all into uploading...
D-Reaper meant to control growth, deleting digimon that went beyond their function... shouldn't have had the strength before.
learned from absorbing digimon?? more powerful than digimon, evolved past them?
Shibumi wakes "I'm not done yet!"

And all this time Ryo and Cyberdramon are drawn to Byamon's battle in the chasm

DavisNarrator interwoven with-- Calumon: Maybe they're dangerous because they're so pretty...

Sweet!

Another Japanese link, and this time, pretty comprehensive! Key Aspects of Japan. Wooooo!

And another one! Translations of Japanese stories, contemporary and legendary. Japanese Story Translations.

working on "Raven"

from February 17 RPG (a very busy day):
Touma: When darkness fills the sky, there is no blending, there is no boundary. There's just -one-. I made that choice... I worked for it. But I don't have the courage to let them see what it really means.

Got 10K on the Wheel of Excitement last night in Neopia. The day before I won at Fruit Machine and Tombola and got stuff from the Snowager... luckkky streak. Abette and Anthur also got Faerie blessings.

Trying to make a new blog for Pocket Bishoujo catches. Not working. Frustrated. Grrr.

However... go Wiggle and Jada!!! Not only is Scarlet Threads getting to be translated in Russian, but Check This Out!! Wooooo! International yaoi supastars. ^___^

couple of good YST references

Japanese Geography Dictionary
Tokyo Food Page - THE place to learn about Japanese food
The RW/YST Episode Guide - I think this might be the one with some inaccuracies and weird opinions, so beware.

AMEN!

From the Sage Page:

Instead, more cookie-cutter kiddie flicks. I don't know if you've seen the adds for Ice Age, but some of them -- I swear -- read "If you liked Shrek and Monsters Inc, you'll love Ice Age.

Wonderful. Just wonderful. The state of animation is dreadful.

FOX also said cel animation is dead. I doth protest. There was a lot of troublesome generalizations and overstatements in the story. Animation is not dead. Animation has entered a brave new world. It's a world, however, that a lot of people don't want to accept. Miyazaki's Sen To Chiro is the highest grossing non-American move ever. Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust was the result of a joint Japanese and American committee. Jin-Roh. What can I say about Jin-Roh.

But, in the real world, the above titles are just some sort of meaningless Chinese Pokey-Man thingy. While Toonami's raising a new animation-literate generation, the current institutions have a blind eye to the rising sun. The powers that be in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences -- like Boogiepop's Towa Organization -- are purposely ignorant of greater spectrum of Animation. Final Fantasy, Blood, Vampire Hunter D, and Jin-Roh were all passed up in favor of Jimmy Neutron.

There is not a single legitimate reason for that.

What can you do? Seeing as I've got out the Treize jacket, I've got to give a few marching orders. You can help by buying animation. Yes, it's ever so easy to download Evangelion or Trigun, but don't. Buy them. Go to a store or order the DVDs from an online merchant. When you download an animation in rm, divx, or mpeg, you're only hurting the creators. When you buy an animation, the money goes to the licensors and creators. The $25 you spent on Love Hina helped Bandai pay for the rights to Ronin Warriors. The money that you give to ADV, Pioneer, Bandai, CPM, or Animeigo is returned to you with more titles, more series, and more animations.

Isn't this just a big marketing thing? Yes. But, anime is made to make money. Japanese Animation is art -- every frame of it -- but it is also a product. It's made to earn a profit. EVA's plug was almost pulled several times when sponsors wanted to back out.

So, how can you help the state of Animation in America? Whether you're just a general fan or a die-hard "otaku", BUY ANIME. It's expensive, but it'll keep you off drugs.

And we're working on it!

Listening to: She's So Heavy. I want you so bad
