anguish

Oh, I don't know. Maybe I didn't blog that week. I still can't find the shota story!! ::beats chest:: Oh what'll I do if it's gone? Damn it. I lost one of my kids. Oh Jesus, please let it be -somewhere-, please. I know it's just a bastard but it was a good story and I'm so so sorry I didn't save it to disk right then.

7:48 AM
fuck me

To the gloaters at Pyra.

You want me to fucking *believe* that I didn't blog ANYTHING the week before I went back to St. Louis and then the Mini-con? You want me to bend over and suck that off your shitty little archive?!! FUCK. And I know for a fact the very first entry is missing. Ohhhh you shitter, if you ate my fic, I'm gonna carve you a new asshole.

Boom shanka.

in other news

Bad computer. No biscuit.

I did in fact get into watching WK from the get-go, despite the frequent boy cat-calls (heh). So much more at stake when one has boys in the head. It only took me a year and a half! :D The closeups are usually very good, and I love the interplay between members... the seiyuu camaraderie really helps there.

Schwarz rocks. ^^ I can't wait to see them in action.

I am split as to whether this will help my fics or hurt them. Introducing me to canon is like locking a kid in the candy store. My characters (well, 'cept for Schwarz, but I deliberately bend them for my own uses) are still fairly on the mark, at least to my satisfaction. Ran/Omi is still a solid go. Aya/Yohji and the evil pairing on the other hand... the fic-boys may be able to do it, but I'll adopt a wait-and-see with the canon. Not that I don't see it, I'm just not sure how easy it'll be for me to write it from now on. Who knows where my twisted mind will go. Yohji/Omi is a no-brainer ^^, I don't have to worry about that.

Otherwise... Neoquest now gives out NP?!!! WHERE WERE YOU 32 LEVELS AND THREE BOSSES AGO! Bastards.

Boys: *singing the Ken's a dork song*
You boys are so mean! *g*

*popcorn everywhere!*
Touma: Ken's a lovesick dorrrk! Ken's a lovesick dorrrk!
Kayura: *giggles* No, he's just taken in by the chick. Just like Yotan awwwwww did I hurt your feelings?

*Shu closes door*

Shuu: Noooo! Not the sparkly eyes!
Touma: Aw man, he's gonna fall for it!
Shuu: Anything but the sparkly eyes!

Touma: She loves you for your bike, man! The bike, it's the bike!
Seiji: She does have a poster of one on her wall.
Touma: A pin-up you mean.

oh boy, this could end in bloodshed.

Touma: *as Yohji* Oh, look my stalking paid off.
Shuu: *as Ken* Leave me alone, you flake, I got farther with her!
Touma: *as Yohji* Fine, I'm not denying I'm a flake.
Shuu: *as Ken* The next one's my last! I don't get laid enough around there!
Touma: *as Yohji* Awww, man!
Kayura: *in stitches* His face falls! Bwahahahaha!

Seiji: Hey. Omi's hot. When did that happen?
Touma: He's jailbait!
Seiji: Yet he can kill people. Sound familiar.
....
Shuu: *as Ken* Oh no! *sniffle* There's... there's blood on my good leather! Damn it!
Touma: *as Yohji* It's all right, dear, a little club soda will get it right out.

Kayura: *rewinds* How can Omi sneak around with his white legs reflecting in the dark?
Seiji: Must be the sex appeal.
Touma: *nudges Seiji*

Omi's Still My Favorite

"If you close your eyes in fear,
you might not escape it for the rest of your life."

After Trying to Watch "Paradies" for the Fifth Time

Touma: He puts his name on his underwear?!!
Shuu: *connipting*
Kayura: *on the floor, kicking her feet*
*pause tape! pause tape!*

2:11 PM
classmate snooping

The motorbike guy, R., has had an exhibit in the Uptown Art Fair! Watercolors, apparently, a long time back. He is rather middle aged, ya know.

The bishounen military brat in Public Speaking? J.? He teaches taekwondo. Ghh. Have I described him? He's willowy and has that soft coffeehouse-waiter voice.

There was *another* Honda Shadow there. It wasn't as sexy, if it's not the same. Today's was a Shadow Spirit, the one on Monday was a Shadow 500. They left their helmet there, and also had a little (Touma)satchel.

1:55 PM
ha HA!

Okay, I can't get through this episode of Weiss without breaking into gigglefits. The peanut gallery in my head is just too much! :D

Seiji: Look, Aya gets my attack in the intro.
Shuu: As Fearless Leader would say, he's juiced.
Seiji: Oooh, the angst. Nice eyes.
Yohji: Heyyy, this is serious! I was upset!
Seiji: It's also hot, Baby.
Yohji: Well....
Touma: Nice asses.
Shuu: Those are girls' asses, aren't they.
Touma: Can't you tell the difference?
Kayura: Well, you have a girly ass, Tou-chan.
Touma: I do NOT! Ooooh cool, two girls at once. Gonna teach me how to do that?
Seiji: *murmurs* Yes, tired them out too.
Shuu: *murmurs* Maybe he needs a moustache for it?
Yohji: Well, it's like this....
*uproarious laughter over the dum-de-dum music as Yohji "acts casual" *
*pause tape*
*play*
*guffawing on the floor at the James Bond-ish music when Yohji slips into the back room*
*pause tape*
*play*
Seiji: Rowr. Bodysuit.
Touma: Skintight.
Kayura: Sweet.
Yohji: *sweatdrop*
Touma: Bwaahahaha! Watch, he gets taken in by the sneaky girl.
Kayura: Never trust a girl in bondage.
Yohji: She was gonna be killed--! Oh, why try.
Shuu: Awww, lookit that cute expression.
Seiji: *serious* Kawaii.
Kayura: Totally hopeless with women.
Touma: *dying* She's just yanking him around!
*tape paused*
*Shu writes this journal as Yohji throws popcorn at the others*

Yamabuki is Japanese keria, or Japanese rose, Keria japonica. It comes out in the spring, and is associated with its color, a bright yellow. It's also a variety of koi, and a fairly well-known high school in Tokyo. (In fact, I use it for the majority of the Tamers.) Lit. "mountain rose", associated with late spring.

What in heaven's name is rabaama?

Kimono color combinations, re: Murasaki - Yamabuki is mentioned here; it seems Murasaki liked it.

And finally, the truth about cabbits.

3:36 AM

The thing about being in a homicidal mood ... besides not being able to warn people off fast enough ... is that the bunnies spawn so fast I can't catch them. It's just this vague tearing ache. Well. Give it a shot, I'm bloody awake anyway.

Wait, I need a popsicle.

Tease because I'm sleepy.

Jen hadn't really thought about it till he stumbled across Shao's shoujo manga. Jaarin-nee had never been a big shoujo fan, though the family teased her about the sentai shows. Every once in a while Takato would mention that Juri wanted him to draw her a shoujo manga, just a short one, but he always begged off on grounds of ability.

So the shonen-ai story had been an education to say the least. Once he figured out who was who from the riot of bubbles and flowers,
he felt a massive sweatdrop coming on. That was just not how it worked! Not that he'd ever, ever tell Shao how it worked, but he was anxious to set right the grave inaccuracies in the story.

Being the good brother that he was, he instead left the manga on the living room couch. Wasn't his fault she'd left it in his room with her other junk. With her luck, one of their older siblings would find it before Otousan got home.

The romantic tidbit had him thinking, though. The family had grown accustomed to Ryo's place in his life. There was no need to hide anything, nothing that would interrupt the normal course of their relationship. After about a week of thought, Jen came to the conclusion that left to themselves, they weren't romantic in the least.

Their dates now were little different from when they'd first returned from the Digital World. Hanging out in the park with the others. Walking around downtown, hitting fast food stands. Playing video games or going online to roleplay. Debugging hand-built hardware. Going to high school baseball games. There was snogging and sex mixed in, but with their hormonal spurts in tandem, it was rare that foreplay exceeded thirty seconds.

Intrinsically it didn't bother Jen. They loved each other. There was no lack of passion and affection. But on principle it bothered him; were they supposed to be romantic?

Then Jen noticed Ryo making love to the condensation on his glass.

I'm hearing a violin concerto in my head. It's not one I've heard before. Too bad I don't compose music.

Written by M. Avsec and D. Ierace

Yeah, it's been a long, long time.
Such a site, you're lookin' better than a body has a right to.
Don't you know we're playin' with the fire?
But we can stop this burnin' desire, Leah!

Ah! Leah! Here we go again!
Ah! Leah! Is it ever gonna end?
Ah! Leah! Here we go again!
Ah! Leah!

I see your lips and I wonder who's been kissin' them.
I never knew how badly I was missin' them.
We both know we're never going to make it,
but when we touch, we never have to fake it, Leah!

Ah! Leah! Here we go again!
Ah! Leah! Is it ever gonna end?
Ah! Leah! Here we go again!
Ah! Leah! We ain't learned our lesson yet!

Baby, it's no good. We're just askin' for trouble.
I can touch you, but I don't know how to love you.
It ain't no use! We'er headed for disaster.
Our minds said, "No!" But our hearts were talkin' faster, Leah!

Ah! Leah! Here we go again!
Ah! Leah! Here we go again!
Ah! Leah! Leah, Leah, Leah!
Ah! Leah! Here we go again!

Ah! Leah, Leah, Leah!
Ah! Leah! We're never, ever, ever gonna make it yeah!
Ah! Leah!
Ah! Leah! Here we go again!
